'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi is an actor par excellence, whose selection of scripts is something to be wondered about. Very rarely has the actor gone wrong with his selection, and even when it does, those 'misfires' are at least worth watching. Vijay Sethupathi is mostly known for taking on roles that ventures away from the usual mainstream roles we associate Tamil hero with. Like playing an ageing theatre veteran in Seethakaathi or playing a transsexual in the upcoming Super Deluxe. Directed by SU Arun Kumar, Sindhubaadh is an action thriller that has Vijay Sethupathi paired up with Anjali. The makers have revealed the first teaser video of the film that has some very high octane action sequences, though not as slick as in Junga. There are some interesting chase sequences shot in Malaysia with some portions also shot in Tamil Nadu.

Talking more about Vijay Sethupathi's films, like always, the actor has kept himself very busy saying yes to multiple projects. Apart from Super Deluxe and Sindhubaadh, Vijay Sethupathi has also given his nod to Seenu Ramasamy's Maamanithan and Manikandan's Kadaisi Vivasayi. He will also be seen in an important role in Chiranjeevi's ambitious Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, that marks Sethupathi's debut in Telugu cinema.
