SavyaSachi First Look: Naga Chaitanya is The Angry Young Man Once More But This Time He is Ambidextrous

SavyaSachi is expected to release on May 24.

Playing an angry young man who fights against the vile elements of the system, is a staple role that you have to do if you plan a mainstream movie career as a lead man in South. Naga Chaitanya, the scion of the Akkineni family, is taking on just another role in such a mould for his next, Savyasachi. In case you are wondering what the title means, the man himself has cleared it for us, as Chaitanya had earlier tweeted, "Just in case you were wondering #SavyaSachi = ambidextrous."

The makers have release the first look of the movie, that has Naga looking quite pissed off, regardless of the bruise in his forehead. In the background, we can see many hands like the hands of Goddess Kali with different tattoos on each hand. We can make out words like artihc, Nirau, Maha, the number 21 and some drawings. Is Naga Chaitanya going all Aamir Khan from Ghajini here?

SavyaSachi is directed by director Chandoo Mondeti, who earlier directed Naga Chaitanya in the hit Premam. This will be their second collaboration. Munna Michael star Nidhi Agarwal is making her debut in Telugu cinema with this movie, while R Madhavan is also having an important role here. This will be Madhavan's first full-length in Telugu cineme; he earlier did a cameo in the 2010 movie Om Shanti Om.

SavyaSachi is expected to release on May 24.

Naga Chaitanya will also be seen in the ensemble period drama, Mahanati, based on the life of the yesteryear actress Mahanati Savitri. Naga Chaitanya will be playing his real-life grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the wife, while his better half Samantha will be playing Jamuna, who was the third wife of late acting legend Gemini Ganesan (Dulquer Salmaan). Keerthy Suresh is playing Savitri in the movie.
