Rajiv Menon is a very choosy director. As a film-maker, he has only directed two films to date in two decades - the Kajol-starrer Minsara Kanavu aka Sapnay that came out in 1997, and that star-studded Kandukondain Kandukondain, that has Mammootty, Ajith, Aishwarya Rai and Tabu. Both the films featured memorable music from Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. Now Rajiv Menon is back with his third film, Sarvam ThaalaMayam, and guess what, AR Rahman is scoring the music for him again. AR Rahman Shares Video of Unknown Woman Melodiously Singing Popular Song  O Cheliya.

Sarvam ThaalaMayam should be a very important film for Rahman, considering he has been getting some heavy criticism for his lacklustre songs these days. Also, Sarvam ThaalaMayam is a musical film, a movie that celebrates the beats and rhythm through its protagonist, played by GV Prakash Kumar, who is steadily becoming a formidable leading man these days. His casting is an inspired choice considering Prakash is a composer himself. ARRived Anthem: AR Rahman and Shah Rukh Khan Come Together For This Captivating Single to Promote Online Reality Show - Watch Video

The first teaser has arrived and it shows the protagonist's obsession with music, possessing the talent of playing any song he hears. He is also a Thalapathy Vijay fan, who thinks the actor's movies only release if he plays his drums. With some peculiar visuals and an interesting BG score, the teaser of Sarvam ThaalaMayam looks to be hitting all the right notes it seems.

Aparna Balamurali is the female lead in the film, while the movie also stars Nedumudi Venu, Sumesh, Kumaravel and Athira Pandilakshmi. Sarvam ThaalaMayam will release on December 28.
