Sammohanam Actor Amit Purohit Passes Away: A Kind Gentle Hardworking Person Gone to Soon, Says Aditi Rao Hydari

Amit Purohit played a key role in the 2018 released Telugu-language film Sammohanam. His untimely death has left the industry members in a state of shock. Sudheer Babu and Aditi Rao Hydari who worked with Amit in Sammohanam, confirmed the news of his death on Twitter. Sudheer Babu took to Twitter last evening (July 10) and announced the news of Amit Purohit’s death. Aditi mentioned in her post, “a kind gentle hardworking person gone to soon”. Sudheer Babu tweeted, “Saddened by the death news of Amit Purohit. He played Amit Malhotra (Sameera's Ex Boyfriend) in Sammohanam. Very friendly guy & always gave 100 % for every shot. Another young and good actor left us too early. May his soul find peace.”

Aditi Rao Hydari wrote, “Rest in peace Amit Purohit, Prayers and healing to the family... a kind gentle hardworking person gone to soon. thank you for your invaluable  presence in  #sammohanam #GoneTooSoon”.

Mohanakrishna Indraganti, the director of Sammohanam tweeted, “I am unable to believe it. Amit Purohith, one of the gentlest, well- behaved and hugely talented actors I have worked with. And such a generous man!!! Amith, I will miss you, man. I was thinking of casting you again soon May you Rest In Peace, Brother”. The cause of Amit Purohit’s death is still unknown. The news of the actor’s death took the internet by storm. Amit has worked in other films such as Aalaap, Pankh and Bijuka.
