Saaho has taken off to a fantastic start at the box office both in India as well as overseas. As per certain trade experts, the movie has grossed over Rs 350 crore (gross) at the global box office within a matter of five days. Which is a fantastic thing for a movie belongs to the regional cinema and riding on the broad shoulders of its lead star, Prabhas who is still smelling daisy-fresh off the success of Baahubali 2. Only Prabhas' star power and the mammoth hype surrounding the film can be credited for the brilliant start it got at the box office. Saaho Worldwide Box Office Collection: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's Action Entertainer Rakes in Rs 330 Crores in 4 Days.

For everything else about the film is a mess. Saaho has been getting widely negative reviews, that blame the film's faulty writing and direction, as well as the skewered handling of the ensemble cast for derailing the movie. Even Prabhas feels like he is sleepwalking through the film. And for a movie that boasts of a Rs 350 crore budget, none of the CGI shown in Saaho gets to match that money. Saaho Movie Review: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s Thriller Aims to Go Fast & Furious but Peaks At Race 3 Level.

What's more, the movie has been dogged with plagiarism controversies right from the start. From the posters to song visuals and now even the movie itself, Saaho has been accused of copying stuff from Hollywood movies, artwork, videogames, a Karan Johar movie still and French films. Well, we looked back at the movie's and did a brief recap of all the plagiarism charges that the Sujeeth directorial faced till now.

This was one of the biggest controversies surrounding Saaho. Contemporary artist Shilo Shiv Suleman has accused the makers of using one of her artwork as a design for the some of the visuals in the song "Baby Won't You Tell Me". She shared pictures of her artwork with that of the song on her Insta page and we have to say she got a fair point there. Even actress Lisa Ray came in support of Shilo and slammed the makers for not giving credit where due. Saaho: After Diet Sabya, Actress Lisa Ray Slams Makers For Plagiarising Shilo Shiv Suleman’s Artwork (View Pic).

Not Walter White! Well, we have had posters that have the protagonists look menacingly ahead, and Saaho and White look to suffer from the same tendency.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Promotional Stills of Saaho and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

The sensuous pose that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor went for one of the promotional stills in the Karan Johar film inspires Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas to go for something similar in Saaho too!

Largo Winch

Many who have seen both Saaho and the French film Largo Winch (2008) found many similarities between both the movies. Even the director of the French film, Jérôme Salle, dissed the makers, asking them to do it in the right way if they are even remaking his film without permissions. Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi was also inspired by Largo Winch.
