Saaho DELAYED: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Film To Release on Dussehra Instead of Independence Day 2019?
Here's why the Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor starrer flick is getting delayed suddenly!
There was an excitement in the air regarding the release of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho. After his 5-year-long dedication to the Baahubali franchise, Prabhas finally has moved on to the new-age action drama- Saaho, and the teaser won the fans. Now, if we believe the latest reports, the film is getting delayed from Independence Day release to a Dussehra release! Here's How Prabhas Learnt Hindi To Dub For Saaho.
The filmmakers announced the release date of the Sujeeth directed actioner as August 15, 2019. It was naturally a perfect slot for the release of a mega film of the mega Tollywood star like Prabhas. However, due to the pending VFX work, it is getting postponed, reports Bollywoodhungama.
A source told the entertainment portal, "There are high chances that the release of Saaho might get deferred. The movie has extremely heavy VFX heavy there is still too much work pending. Hence, the makers feel that it is highly unlikely to meet its deadline."
The source further added, "Yes, they want to schedule a date this year itself. However, considering that they will miss out on the Independence Day holiday, they are keen on taking advantage of the occasion of Navratri. So the release may get pushed to Dussehra.”
Delaying of a film due to the pending work of VFX has been a common scenario to be seen these days. Just recently, Ranbir Kapoor- Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra was postponed due to the pending VFX work, as told by director Ayan Mukerji. Also, earlier, Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar's 2.0 too faced constant delay owing to the incomplete VFX work.
The films which are heavily based on the visual effects can't really compromise on the quality of the action sequences and hence, the makers often take this step to ensure a better result. The makers have not yet confirmed the new release date or the delay of the film yet.
