Saaho Box Office Collection Day 1: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's Action Drama Collects Rs 100 Crore+ Across India, Fails to Beat Baahubali 2
Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's Saaho beats Avengers: Endgame with its opening day figure and the numbers are only going to increase with time. Though the film couldn't surpass the collection of Baahubali 2, it managed to secure the position of the highest opener of 2019.
Saaho had to be the biggest release of this year and there were no two ways about it. Prabhas was returning after a gap of two years since his last release, Baahubali 2, that went on to be a huge box office success. Expectations on Saaho were touching the sky and it was touted to be the highest opener of 2019. And it wasn't an exaggeration. This Sujeeth directorial has managed to earn a whopping amount of Rs 100+ crore across India (in different languages) on its first day and this is no small feat.
Industry tracker, Ramesh Bala took to his Twitter account to reveal the film's opening day numbers in all the languages. #Saaho registers 100 cr+ gross openings in #India alone on Day 1..., he tweeted while sending his fans in frenzy. Though the numbers are highest if compared to any other Bollywood releases including Thugs of Hindostan and Hollywood's Avengers: Endgame, they are still far lesser than Baahubali 2.
