Jr NTR and Ram Charan's RRR is special on so many levels. Firstly, it SS Rajamouli's immediate release after his magnum opus Baahubali. And secondly, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn will make their regional debut with this movie. While a lot has been spoken about Rajamouli's next, the recent rumours around Jr NTR's lead actress has upset the makers a bit too deeply. British actress Daisy Edgar-Jones was earlier roped in to play the lead opposite Jr NTR, however, she backed out for some reason that she revealed later in an Instagram post. While we expected the director to find her replacement soon enough, the absence of an announcement from the team has gotten us worried until today.
Well, seems like the makers of RRR are finally willing to put an end to all the unwanted stories and they have just tweeted something really important. The name of Jr NTR's lead heroine will be announced tomorrow and we are excited to know more deets about the same. The actress must be extremely talented for she bagged Rajamouli's next dream venture and she won't have to wait too long before she gets popular in the Southern cinema. The director has finished 70 per cent of the film's shooting and the rest will be completed when the new girl comes in the picture. Alia Bhatt to play Ram Charan’s ‘Sita’ in RRR!
Check Out the Tweet
It's been a phenomenal year since the shoot of #RRR began! It was a productive year with 70% of shoot completed.✊🏻
Also putting an end to speculations, we're glad to announce the lead actress for @tarak9999 & antagonists of the film tomorrow. Stay tuned... #RRR 🔥🌊

After Daisy's exit, a report in Glute.com, suggested that Sai Pallavi has been roped in as the second lead actress. While there was no official announcement around the same, we wonder if the director would replace a British face with an Indian one. It seems highly unlikely but you never know. RRR is a story about two freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The movie will hit the big screens on July 30, 2020.
