Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s fans would be rejoicing today. SS Rajamouli made the much-awaited announcement today (March 14) at the RRR press meet which was conducted in Hyderabad. He confirmed, Alia has been roped in as the lead actress of RRR and she would be paired opposite Ram Charan in the magnum opus. This was something we all were waiting to hear since a long-long time. Alia who is thrilled about her south debut, shared on Twitter on how she can’t wait to work with SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani. CONFIRMED! Alia Bhatt took to Twitter and posted, “Today I feel truly truly grateful.. In fact the makers also welcomed the actress in the most beautiful way, “Welcome aboard, @aliaa08! We are glad to have you play the female lead in our film. RRR which is set in the pre-independence era is based on the lives of Alluri Seetharamararaju and Komaram Bheem.
