Rocketry - The Nambi Effect: R Madhavan Ropes in Actors From Games Of Thrones and Downton Abbey for His Directorial
R Madhavan's Rocketry - The Nambi Effect gets two international actors on board. Check out who they are.
Actor R Madhavan is all set to make his directorial debut with the multi-lingual film, Rocketry - The Nambi Effect. The film is based on the life of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) scientist, Nami Narayan. We have already seen the Madhavan's look as he's all set to step into the shoes of the scientist. Pictures had shown Madhavan with an older look where he is seen sporting white hair and a long beard. The film will also bring together after a hiatus of 17 years, the pairing of Madhavan and Simran who first came together as a couple on screen in Mani Ratnam's 2002 release Kannathil Muthammital. The film is going to be special and we can already say that looking at the cast. Earlier, we had reported that Madhavan will be roping in some international actors too for his film and now the actor has announced two new cast members. On board for Rocketry are two actors who have worked in popular International series such as Game Of Thrones and Downton Abbey.
Take a look at Madhavan's Instagram:
Madhavan took to Instagram to share a picture with Ron Donachie (who played Sir Roderick Cassel on Game Of Thrones) and Phyllis Logan (Mrs Hughes from Downtown Abby). Sharing the picture, he wrote, "What a wealth of experience and honour it has been to have you part of this film. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts." This is definitely a brilliant development for the film and we certainly expect these actors to take the film a notch higher.. The film will trace Narayan's tenure at ISRO and mainly also address one controversial episode from his life, the 1994 incident when he was accused of espionage. Though he was later declared innocent by the Supreme Court, we are sure there's an interesting story there and surely Madhavan will be making sure to cover it intelligently for his film.
The actor has been excited about this film, not only because it will mark his directorial debut, but also because he will be introducing Narayan's character to the world.
