In the suicide note, Darshan's manager, Sridhar, mentioned that he had decided to end his life due to extreme loneliness. Even in the video message obtained, he mentioned the same and requested officials not to involve his family in the case, taking full responsibility for the incident Police have launched a probe into the matter to check a possible connection between Sridhar's suicide and Renuka Swamy murder case involving the Kannada star and his partner Pavithra Gowda.

'Challenging Star' Darshan was recently arrested in connection with a murder case of a person named Renuka Swamy. The case revolves around the allegations that Renuka Swamy had sent lewd messages to Darshan's girlfriend, Pavithra Gowda, on multiple occasions, which irked the Kannada star to take matters into his own hands. Renukaswamy Murder Case: Court Extends Police Custody of Kannada Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, Associates Till June 20.

Darshan then orchestrated a plan to kidnap and torture Renuka Swamy with the help of his fans. Reportedly, the actor paid a huge sum to some fans to kidnap Renuka Swamy, thrash him and eventually kill him.
