Rana Daggubati and Vidya Balan Join the Star Cast of NTR’s Biopic

After late legend Savitri's biopic, Mahanati, fans are thrilled for NTR Rama Rao's biopic that will go on floors pretty soon. Rana Daggubati and Vidya Balan have also joined the star cast of the biopic that will be directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamud. Vidya will be playing the role of NTR's wife, Basavatarakam, whereas Rana will play the role of Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister and NTR's son-in-law, Chandra Babu Naidu. Nandamuri Balakrishna will be playing the role of NTR in the biopic. The film surely has a stellar star cast and expectations are high from the film. The biopic is based on the legendary Indian actor, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao who was also a producer, director, editor and politician who served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years.

Industry insider, Taran Adarsh, tweeted the news about the two new actors joining the cast and wrote, "#BreakingNews: Rana Daggubati to play Andhra Pradesh CM and NTR’s son-in-law N Chandra Babu Naidu in #NTR biopic... Stars Balakrishna [as NTR] and Vidya Balan [as NTR’s wife Basavatarakam]... Directed by Krish... Produced by Balakrishna, Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Sai Korrapati." Rana also confirmed the news and announced that he will be playing a part in the story about the celebrated legend.
