Rajinikanth to Team Up with Viswasam Director Sivakumar for Thalaivar 168?
Superstar Rajinikanth would reportedly be teaming up with Viswasam director Sivakumar, who is also known as Siva, for his next project. Viswasam starring Thala Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead was a huge hit.
Rajinikanth recently wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming flick, Darbar. Directed by AR Murugadoss, this film has been in the buzz ever since it was announced. And then when the pictures from the sets of Darbar hit the internet and Rajinikanth’s look was shared, fans have been eagerly waiting for the movie to be released. Well, the latest buzz is about Rajinikanth’s next project, which is tentatively labelled as Thalaivar 168.
According to a report in the Indian Express, Rajinikanth would be teaming up with Viswasam director Sivakumar, who is also known as Siva, for his next project. Viswasam starring Thala Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead was a huge hit. And fans are simply excited to know that superstar Rajinikanth and filmmaker Siva are joining hands for Thalaivar 168. A source was quoted saying: “It has been quite a while since Superstar attempted something for the B and C centres. The final drafts of the scripts are yet to be locked though.”
The source also revealed that Siva met Rajinikanth and even discussed about the script. About this the source further said, “Siva was excited to meet Thalaivar, and the session went quite well.” But we’ll have to wait till an official announcement is made. Talking about Darbar, produced under the banner of Lyca Productions, the film is all set to be released on January 14, 2020. This action thriller is coinciding with Thai Pongal.
