Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 is one of the highly anticipated Telugu movies of the year that written and directed by Sukumar. Plot – Pushpa revolves around the ‘red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra’. Allu Arjun, who would be playing the titular role, will be seen as a truck driver and a red-sanders smuggler.

Cast – The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead. Pushpa will mark the Tollywood debut of Fahadh, who’d be seen as an antagonist in the film. Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Dhananjay will also be seen in key roles. Samantha Ruth Prabhu would be seen making an appearance in an item number.

Release Date – The Sukumar directorial is all set to be released in theatres on December 17. It would be released in Telugu and four dubbed versions, that is, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.
