1. Dream Career

Despite his fame, Prabhas never intended to become an actor. Coming from a film family— his father is producer Uppalapati Surya Narayana Raju and his uncle is the renowned Telugu actor Krishnam Raju Uppalapati—Prabhas was initially hesitant to join the industry. In fact, he had his sights set on becoming a hotelier before eventually pursuing acting due to his family’s influence.

2. He Made History At Madame Tussauds

Prabhas made history as the first South Indian actor to have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Bangkok. His wax statue is modeled after his character in Baahubali.

3. Adventure Sports Enthusiast

Prabhas has an adventurous spirit and a passion for sports like volleyball and rock climbing. In fact, during the filming of Baahubali, the actor set up a volleyball court on set, encouraging his co-stars and crew to play during breaks. During the filming of Baahubali, Prabhas received training in rock climbing for scenes that required him to scale cliffs. It was during this period that he discovered his natural talent for the sport, which eventually became one of his favourite activities.

4. A Dedicated Actor

Prabhas is known for his dedication to his roles. He spent nearly five years exclusively working on the Baahubali series, turning down multiple projects during that period. He trained rigorously to transform his body to match the requirements of his character and even underwent a special diet and workout regimen to fit into the dual roles of Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali.
