Tamil actor Vemal has landed in trouble after he and his friends attacked an actor from the Telugu industry. According to reports, the incident took place at a service apartment on March 11. Apparently, the Telugu actor Abhishek and Vemal got into a heated argument which further led to a brawl between the duo. As per reports, Abhishek ignored the Tamil actor Vemal which irked the latter. Abhishek was on a phone call and did not pay any heed when Vemal was trying to interact with him. The fight between the two turned out so ugly that the onlookers had to intervene and stop them. Vemal wasn’t alone, three of his friends were also involved. The reports also states that Abhishek has lodged a complaint against all the four under sections 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 294b (Uttering obscene words) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Abhishek came to Chennai for the filming of Avan Adhu Aval. He resides at the Bhaskar Colony, Virugambakkam (where the incident took place), reports TOI. Vemal fled from the spot soon after the incident took place. The report quoted an investigating officer saying, “The actor is on the run. A special team is on the job to nab him.” Vemal is popular in Tamil cinemas. His roles in the films such as Pasanga, Kalavani, Kalakalappu, and many others gained him popularity.
