Ever since the posters of the film came out, showing Thalaive looking so young, we were quite excited to see the trailer to know what the film is all about. We had to be content, though, with the teases of Rajinikanth's character in the lyrical song videos that the makers have been releasing this till now. But there is some good news on the anvil. Petta's first fully-fledged trailer will come out this week on December 28. So expect the year to end on a bang!

Petta features an exciting ensemble supporting cast. Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui is making his Tamil debut with the film. Petta also stars Vijay Sethupathi, M Sasikumar, Simran Bagga, Trisha Krishnan, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram and J Mahendran. On Pongal, the movie is all out to clash with another biggie in Ajith Kumar's Viswasam.
