Telugu heartthrob Rana Daggubati is all set to enthral us with his next transformation. However, this transformation isn’t like the one for Baahubali but has more layers to it. He will be next seen in the sequel of N.T.R: Kathanayakudu, namely, NTR Mahanayakudu. In this biopic of actor-politician N.T. Rama Rao, he will be essaying the role of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu. Words fall short to explain the kind of efforts the makers have put to make his character as NTR’s son-in-law look as real as possible. In the video released, we can see him going lean for his role. Donning a white shirt, he has nailed the body language and expressions of the politician with ace. Also, he shed his much-loved beard and kept a simple-mustache look with neatly combed hair. The makers have made sure to show us the original photograph of the politician in his young days in-order to give us a reference through out the video. We must say that the South hunk has managed to get into the skin of the influential political personality.

Speaking about prepping up for the role, the actor told in an interview earlier, “Naidu has been a part of our growing up years, I have seen him as CM of united Andhra Pradesh, a decade in the opposition and now again as CM. Besides this, I went through lots of photographs of Naidu, who became an MLA and cinematography minister at the age of 28, in 1978. I think I have more photographs of Naidu than the CM himself.”
You do need that kind of dedication and study to materialize something so popular, on the silver screen. Krish directed NTR Mahanayakudu is slated to hit the screens on February 22.
