Nandamuri Harikrishna died in a tragic road accident this morning. He was actor-turned-TDP leader and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao’s son. The shocking road accident took place this morning as Nandamuri was driving to Kavali in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. Harikrishna sustained critical head injuries when the car in which he was travelling along with two others overturned while overtaking another vehicle near Anneparthi. He was shifted to Kamineni Hospital at Narketpally, where he passed away. Harikrishna was a member of the TDP politburo and brother-in-law of TDP President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Bigwigs from the Southern film industry took to Twitter to express how shocked and upset they are after they got to know about the sad demise of Nandamuri Harikrishna.

Nandamuri is survived by two wives Lakshmi and Shalini, two sons Junior NTR and Kalyan Ram and daughter Suhasini. His eldest son Janki Ram was also killed in road accident in 2014 in the same district.
