Naga Chaitanya has just signed yet another film opposite wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu, which will be directed by Shiva Nirvana, who also directed Ninnu Kori. According to reports, the actor will be essaying the role of a cricketer in the film. Naga recently finished shooting for Savyasachi which has R Madhavan and Bhumika Chawla in pivotal roles. The makers are yet to finalise a title for the film yet. This will be Naga and Samantha's first film after marriage since they had already finished shooting for Mahanati before the wedding. Also, this one will have them romance each other onscreen for the first time after marriage.

While nothing is confirmed about Naga's role in the romantic saga with Shiva Nirvana yet, this will be the first time that he is playing a sports-person on the big screen. We have seen him play a romantic and action hero in a lot of films before. This one is definitely going to be a special one for fans who love Samantha and Naga's chemistry. Naga took to his social media platforms a while back and announced, "Happy to announce my next directed by shiva produced by @Shine_Screens and will be sharing screen space (if she gives me any 😉 )with my better half @Samanthaprabhu2 ..feels good to be back to being able to take you through another journey of love."

The two have been a part of some exciting ad campaigns after marriage but this being their first film together has fans excited! Naga and Samantha were last seen in Manam which was released 3 years ago. Shiva Nirvana also received a lot of critical acclaim for Ninnu Kori. Even though it wasn't a commercial success, the film impressed critics. What are your thoughts on this? Tell us in the comments below and stay tuned with us for more.
