After premiering at Toronto International Film Festival 2019, the trailer of Moothon starring Nivin Pauly in lead is here. The film directed by Geetu Mohandas is a dark, emotional drama revolving around the story of a boy searching for his elder brother. The film's title itself Moothon means elder brother in Malayalam. The film traces a 14-year-old boy's journey who leaves his home in Lakshadweep to go to Mumbai in search for his elder brother. Nivin Pauly and Amitabh Bachchan Share Their Birthdays On October 11, Premam Actor Shares an Heartfelt Post for the Bollywood’s Legend

The trailer gets quickly dark as we see the boy navigating his way through the streets of Mumbai's red-light area in Kamathipura. We also get a glimpse of Sobhita Dhulipala's character Rosy who is shown to be a sex worker in the film. Nivin Pauly will certainly surprise you with his menacing act in this film, as opposed to the boy-next-door roles we have seen him play earlier. We also see Made In Heaven's Shashank Arora in the trailer but are yet to find out what character he plays in the film.
