Renowned Telugu actor Mohan Babu has fallen victim to a burglary. A recent report revealed that a sum of INR 10 lakh in cash was stolen from his residence. After a thorough investigation conducted by the Pahadishareef police, the culprit was identified as one of Babu's house employees. As per Deccan Chronicle, the theft was reported to the cops by Babu's secretary a few days ago, leading to the arrest of the accused in Tirupati. Reports indicate that a theft occurred at the residence of actor Mohan Babu in Jalpally village on September 22. The incident unfolded when Mohan Babu's secretary returned from a trip to Tirupati with INR 10 lakh in cash. After storing the money in his room within the servant's quarters, he discovered it was missing. Concerned about the situation, he promptly filed a complaint with the police, leading to an investigation into the theft.

Soon after the theft, the officials reviewed the CCTV footage and observed the accused, Vadithe Ganesh Naik, leaving the house late at night while exhibiting suspicious behaviour. Concerned about these activities, the police formed teams to gather technical evidence related to the case. Their investigation soon led them to Tirupati, where they detained Naik for questioning. Following this, he was remanded and charged under Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
