Actress Minu Muneer, who ventured in films in 2008, had previously alleged inappropriate behaviour from actors Jayasurya, Maniyanpilla Raju and Edavela Babu, has now accused Balachandra Menon of coercing her into watching a group sex act in his room. Regarding Balachandra Menon, actress Minu Muneer claimed that he invited her to his room late at night, suggesting that she could witness something ‘rare’. She claims, “he wanted to see lesbian (act) girls and enjoying… and then group sex”. Muneer shared, “He brought some junior girls, small girls, I don’t know what is their age and all…and he said Minu come to my room, if you want something rare you can come… I was wondering why is he calling me in the midnight. I went to his room..” She then tells Dutt, “He asked me to sit and watch (group sex) in his room, and another three men are sitting and watching… I immediately ran out from there.” Furthermore, she recounted a subsequent incident where Menon reportedly asked her and another female artiset to undress and engage in a lesbian act. Muneer revealed, “He called me and one same age artiste and asked us to remove dress and ‘I want you both to do lesbian he said’. We both were so shy because he said like that, then he got fed up, then he removed his dress and he started to do masturbation, looking at us.”

Minu Muneer also asserted that when she refused to comply with Balachandra Menon’s demands, he retaliated by cutting her scenes from a film she had worked on for about a month. She has also expressed her intention to file a formal complaint against the filmmaker.
