123Telugu: "On the whole, Mem Famous is a partly engaging youthful drama. Sumanth Prabhas and all the cast did extremely well, and there are some genuinely good moments in the film. But the second half fails to carry the momentum, and hence the film ends up being just an okay watch this week."
Mirchi9: "Overall, Mem Famous succeeds in writing, casting, and youthful vibe, but falls short with a predictable story, unsatisfactory climax, and pacing issues. Despite its flaws, one can try for its’s vibe and genuineness from the young team."

Gulte: "Mem Famous has a rather predictable story. As the story progresses, it is quite easy to guess the next proceedings. The climax is simple and ends on expected lines. The film has its advantages and its limitations. The film’s narration struggles at times. The uneven pace of the film puts one off. Even making-wise, it doesn’t score points. It appears to be made for limited audiences. Overall, Mem Famous is a mixed bag. How it fares at the cinemas depends on the acceptance of youth audiences."
Telugu Bulletin: "Mem Famous is a half-baked film that looks and feels more like a short film (from both technical and creative perspectives) rather than a featured film with some good youthful comedy scenes and dialogues. Given the dialect, it is more targeted to Telangana youth than Andhra. You may give it a try if you are bored. Else, you can comfortably skip it."
