The legendary MT Vasudevan Nair is one of the greatest writers in India, having penned epics like Naalukettu, Randamoozham, Asuravithu and more. He is also an acclaimed screenplaywright, having written screenplays for films like Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Parinayam, Murapennu, Sadayam and more. Now, on the occasion of the great writer's 91st birthday on July 15, the makers of the anthology Manorathangal have dropped the first trailer of the star-studded series, featuring the creme-de-la-creme of actors in Malayalam cinema as well as directors. Authors MT Vasudevan Nair and Vinod Kumar Shukla Set To Receive ‘Aakashdeep’ Lifetime Achievement Award.

The trailer has Kamal Haasan, who recently became a member of the Malayalam actor's body AMMA, presenting MT's works as a narrator. We then are offered glimpses of the various shorts featuring actors like Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Biju Menon, Siddique, Indrajith Sukumaran, Asif Ali, Vineeth, Indrans, Aparna Balamurali, Durga Krishna, Surabhi Lakshmi, Harish Uthaman, Nadiya Moidu, Madoo, and Ann Augustine. Late Nedumudi Venu and Mamukkoya make posthumous appearances in the series.
