Mamangam Making Video

If the first half of 2019 was owned by Mohanlal and his film Lucifer in Malayalam Cinema, it looks like the second half of the year will be ruled by Mammootty and his Mamangam. A period film, directed by M Padmakumar, Mamangam also stars Unni Mukundan, Prachi Tehlan, Siddique, Kaniha, and others. Interestingly, there was an old classic in Malayalam cinema also called as Mamankam, that has the late Prem Nazir and Jayan in the lead. However, reports state that the new film isn't a remake of that classic, and tells a new story altogether. Mamangam Hindi Teaser Video: Mammootty Steals Spotlight in Extravagant Period Film

If you have been observing the promotions, viz. the trailer and the songs, then you might have observed that the makers of Mamangam are underplaying Mammootty's role in the film. Same is the case with the new video revealed for Mamangam, which is the behind-the-scenes making video of the film. We see Unni Mukundan, Siddique, Prachi Tehlan, Kaniha in the look of their characters. We also get to see some intense sword-fighting sequences. And just when you wonder where the man is, Mammootty arrives majestically towards the end, riding on a horse. Mamangam: From 1982 to 2019, Mammootty’s Transformation Through Historical Sagas Proves He Is the Fittest Malayalam Superstar!
