Biju Narayan is a popular singer in the Malayalam film industry. The playback singer has crooned to more than 400 songs in various south languages. It is unfortunate to hear that his wife Sreelatha passed away after battling with cancer. Sreelatha, aged 44, breathed her last in the wee hours of August 13.

It has been a long while since Biju Narayan’s wife Sreelatha has been undergoing treatment for cancer. The news of her demise has left the industry members and his fans shocked. All are sharing condolence messages across social media platforms. The funeral of Sreelatha will take place at their residence in Kalamassery today evening, at 7.30. Sreelatha is survived by husband Biju Narayanan and two sons Siddarth Narayanan and Suryanarayanan.

Biju Narayan and Sreelatha celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in January 2019. The pictures of the same are going viral on the internet. The playback singer is hardly active on social media. Biju Narayan, who is trained in Carnatic music, started his playback singing career with the song "Pathu Veluppinu" from the film Venkalam, released in 1993. It was on January 23, 1998 Biju tied the knot with his ladylove Sreelatha. The couple dated for almost a decade before getting hitched. The two were classmates while they were studying at the Maharajas College in Eranakulam, Kerala. Our heartfelt condolences to the Narayan family.
