Malayalam actor Captain Raju Passes Away at 68, Twitterati Pays Condolence

Popular actor and director Captain Raju passed away at the age of 68. The veteran star who did films in languages like Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu breathed his last in Kochi. He recently had suffered a massive stroke in a flight on his way to United Arab Emirates for his son's wedding in US. As reported in The News Minute, the cremation will be held today. The artist is survived by wife Pramila and son Ravi Raju.

Not only South Indian regional films, but Captain Raju also featured in Hindi and English films. Known for his performances in popular Malayalam films like Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Oru CBI Diary Kurippu, No. 20 Madras Mail, Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, he was given the title of 'Captain' because of his army background. His last film was 2017 movie Masterpiece.
