KGF Box Office Collection: Yash's Film Surpasses Rs 100 Crore Mark Worldwide
The Kannada movie is minting big money at lightening speed.
While Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer Zero is currently struggling a bit at the box office, Kannada movie KGF Chapter I, on the other hand, has had golden run at the ticket windows since its release on December 21. The action movie, which stars Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead, has been directed by Prashanth Neel and dubbed in four other languages. What's super impressive is the fact that KGF is doing exceedingly well not only in Kanada but in all other languages as well - whether its Hindi, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam. While the Hindi version of the film has raked in Rs 16.45 crore till now, at the worldwide box office KGF has already grossed over Rs 100 crore. That's phenomenal, right? South trade expert Ramesh Bala took to microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the news.

Though KGF wasn't a solo release, it has had a smooth ride at the box office courtesy Yash's powerful performance. Produced by Vijay Kirgandur, the big budget film mostly opened to mixed reviews from critics, however, that has hardly affected its performance at the box office. Apart from Yash and Srinidhi, KGF which is the first installment in the two-part series, also features Achyuth Kumar, Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag and Vasishta N Simha in important roles.
