Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam Gets U Certificate From CBFC; Suriya Seeks Fans' Blessings For its July 13 Release

Karthi is all set to thrill you with his massy entertainer, Kadaikutty Singam. The actor who impressed us with some fine performances in Ayirathil Oruvan, Madras and Paruthiveeran, will have his first movie of 2018 releasing on July 13. Kadaikutty Singam has been cleared by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a clean U certificate.
The movie is directed by Pandiraj and has Sayyeshaa as the female lead. the trailers and songs have caught the fancy of the Tamil viewers and the trade experts are expecting a good initial for the movie. After all, we do have a weak spot for massy, light-hearted entertainers, don't we? Another specialty of Kadaikutty Singam is that the movie is produced by Karthi's elder brother, superstar, Suriya Sivakumar. In an interview to The Hindu, Karthi talked about having his elder brother, Suriya, on board for the film. He had said, "You might have agreed to do a film with a director because you like his work, but production plays a big part in making it bigger. If you take a look at Ghajini, Suriya managed to bring in cinematographer Rajasekhar, editor Anthony and composer Harris Jayaraj on board. And that’s the difference between Murugadoss’ Ramanaa and Ghajini.”
Kadaikutty Singam also stars Sathyaraj, Soori, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Arthana, Sriman, Viji Chandrashekar and Bhanupriya.
