Vishnu Manchu's upcoming fantasy film Kannappa has faced some trouble after a leaked picture of Prabhas from the sets went viral on social media. The Telugu superstar will reportedly portray the divine Lord Shiva. A leaked picture of Prabhas in the getup has now gone viral on the internet, prompting a reaction from the filmmakers. In the picture, Prabhas can be seen in a spiritual avatar, reminding us of his portrayal of Lord Ram in Om Raut's Adipurush. ‘Kannappa’ Makers React to the Leak

Taking to their X (previously Twitter) handle, 24 Frames Factory reacted to the breach and requested fans not to spread the image. They also promised a reward of INR 5 lakh to anyone who would help trace the origin of the leak. They wrote, "For the past eight years, we have pored our hearts and souls into  Kannappa. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorization."

Adding that over 2000 VFX artists have been working tirelessly behind the project, they asked fans to support them and not share the leaked image. They wrote, "Anyone with information that can help us trace this leak will be rewarded with INR 5 lakh. About 'Kannapa'

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singha and produced by AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, the upcoming Telugu language film is based on the legend of Kannappa, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. Kannappa boasts a star-studded lineup with actors, including Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Vishnu Manchu, Sarathkumar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Brahmanandam, among others, in key roles. The magnum opus is expected to hit the big screens in December 2024.
