Kangana Ranaut to Don 4 Looks in Jayalalithaa Biopic, Hollywood Make-Up Artist Jason Collins Roped In by the Makers

It is reported that the makers have roped in the make-up artist Jason Collin, who earlier worked for the Hollywood films like Captain Marvel and Blade Runner 2049. The Bollywood diva will have four different looks in the look to portray different phases of the iconic figure’s life.

Kangana Ranaut is all set to star in the Jayalalithaa biopic. The multilingual movie helmed by Tamil film director AL Vijay got two new titles namely, Thalaivi and Jaya. The buzz about the film has been all over social media. The mid-budget film has the curly-actress haired actress don the role of the late actress turned politician, who had a massive fanbase. Now, it is reported that the makers have roped in make-up artist Jason Collin, who earlier worked for the Hollywood films like Captain Marvel and Blade Runner 2049. The Bollywood diva will have four different looks in the flick to portray different phases of the iconic figure’s life. Earlier, it was reported that the film is facing a financial roadblock currently. A report in Mumbai Mirror stated that the makers did not receive enough funds for the making which pushed the project further. However, this new update now suggests that the film is all set to go on floors after Diwali, this year itself. Kangana has been taking dance classes for the role. There is also a grand retro song with about a hundred background dancers, choreographed by Gayathri Raghuram, in the flick. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
