Kamal Haasan is one of the most loved actors and politicians down south. Haasan had to undergo a surgery on November 22 to get an implant removed from his leg. His party Makkal Needi Maiam had issued a statement with regards to his surgery. The statement also mentioned that Haasan will have to take rest to physically recoup. There are few pics of Kamal Haasan doing rounds in which he is seen fit and healthy, welcomed by the family. The Indian 2 actor has reportedly being discharged from the hospital post his leg surgery. With regards to Kamal Haasan getting discharged from the hospital, his party Makkal Needi Maiam issued a statement that read, “After the successful completion of surgery in his leg, Kamal Haasan has been discharged based on the doctor's suggestion,” reports India Today. Earlier in an interview to Deccan Chronicle, Haasan had mentioned about the fatal fall that happened in 2016. He was quoted as saying, “I fell a good 18 feet from my favourite corner of my office, which I had been using to brood and ruminate for many years. The floor simply collapsed under me, and just caved in!”

On the work front, Kamal Haasan will next be seen in Shankar directorial Indian 2. He would be reprising his role as Senapathy. This movie also features Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Bhavani Shankar among others.
