Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram, who was last seen in Saamy Square, has been signed on to play the main lead in Kadaram Kondan. What's interesting about the film is that film legend turned politician Kamal Haasan is presenting the film. That's not the only connection that Kamal Haasan has with Kadaram Kondan. Kamal Haasan has shared the first look poster of the film, that features Chiyaan Vikram solely. It has the superstar at his dashing best surrounded by fumes and his new look is definitely intriguing. Kodaram Kondan is directed by Rakesh Selva who has earlier directed Thoongavanam, a thriller that had Kamal Haasan in the lead. Chiyaan Vikram will shoot for the film in Malaysia soon.
Chiyaan Vikram is having not a great time at the box office recently. His last two films, Sketch and Saamy Square, have not fared well at the theatres, while his upcoming film, the spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram, is getting postponed with no clear release date given. We hope that Kodaram Kondan will change his fortunes soon.
