The release of every Rajinikanth film is a phenomenon in itself, at least in Tamil Nadu. The superstar's fan-following is huge, and though the mania for his movies is not as terrific as it was in the '90s and 2000s, Rajinikanth still manages to create a lot of waves with every release of his. When his last movie, Kabali, came out, it broke all sorts of records on the opening day itself.

Now with his next movie, Kaala, coming out in a couple of days, the craze for the movie is unprecedented. Especially since the actor made his political entry, the anticipation is getting build in a much larger way. Now recently, one of the producers of Kaala shared a letter on Twitter that will make you go WTF! A company in Tamil Nadu called Telious Technologies has given all its employees holiday on June 7 so that they can catch Kaala on the first day itself!

This move of theirs has also been appreciated by Kaala's lead actress Huma Qureshi who wrote -

Interestingly, even during the release of Kabali, some companies in Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru gave a holiday to their employees to watch the movie. While Thalaiva fans may love this move, we wonder this is just a promotional tactic by the makers to create more buzz about the movie. How can a private company ignore losses of a day's earnings just so that its employees can watch a Rajinikanth movie? Something to ponder on!
