Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Dhadak. A remake of the Marathi film Sairat, Janhvi’s performance was praised. Now it is heard that the young diva is going to make her Kollywood debut with Thala Ajith’s AK60. This isn’t the first time that rumours of Janhvi going to make her debut in Tamil cinema is happening. On July 29, Janhvi Kapoor’s father, producer Boney Kapoor confirmed that he is producing Ajith Kumar’s 60th film. He would be joining hands once again not just with Thala Ajith but also with Nerkonda Paarvai director H Vinoth. Boney Kapoor is making his debut in the Tamil film industry by producing the film Nerkonda Paarvai, slated to release on August 8. About Thala Ajith’s 60th film which is tentatively titled AK60, Boney Kapoor tweeted, “A big thank you to the entire unit of #NerkondaPaarvai for working towards August 8th release. Happy to announce our next AK60 with #AjithKumar #HVinoth and @ZeeStudios will start with Pooja end August 2019. @SureshChandraa @DoneChannel1.” It has not been even a week and the buzz started doing rounds about the film’s lead actress. As per a report in IndiaGlitz.com, Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi will be paired opposite Ajith Kumar. Neither Janhvi, Thala Ajith nor the makers of AK60 have confirmed anything about it yet.
Talking about Janhvi Kapoor’s Bollywood projects, she has intriguing films in her kitty. She’ll be seen in the biopic Kargil Girl, based IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena. Roohi-Afza, Takht and Dostana 2 are the other three films for which she has been roped in. Stay tuned for further updates.
