Is Vijay Deverakonda’s Film with Puri Jagannadh Titled Fighter?
On August 12 the makers had confirmed about this upcoming project. As per reports, Vijay Deverakonda’s next produced by Charmme Kaur has been titled Fighter. However, there’s no official announcement about it yet.
Vijay Deverakonda is in the limelight, courtesy his blockbuster films such as Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade, and others. We already saw a Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, and now his next film which is going to be remade is Dear Comrade. The Hindi version would be bankrolled by Dharma Productions, and fans are just waiting to know the title and the star cast. Besides these intriguing things which are going around, the buzz is about Vijay’s film with Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. It is now said that the upcoming flick has got its title – Fighter.
As per a report in Glute, Vijay Deverakonda’s next has been titled Fighter. The report also states that the Charmme Kaur has registered the title at the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce to get it approved. However, there’s no official announcement about it yet. On August 12 the makers had confirmed about this upcoming project. Kaur had tweeted, “It’s OFFICIAL!!! PC proudly announced our next project with one n only Vijay Deverkonda directed by our Puri Jagannadh ..Lavanya presentation under the banner PURI CONNECTS and PURI JAGANNADH TOURING TALKIES Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur .. More details coming soon .. till than stay tuned !!! Urs Charmee kaur. [sic]”
Speculations are rife that Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter, actress Janhvi Kapoor would be roped in for the film. So will Janhvi make her Tollywood debut with this film or not, is something we’ll have to wait and watch. Vijay Deverakonda’s film is all set to go on floors from January 2020.
