After the success of Vishal's Irumbu Thirai, director PS Mithran is all set to work with Sivakarthikeyan for his next. It's going to be a racy thriller that will go on floors in 2019. The film will also have a social cause that will form the crux of the plot. Sivakarthikeyan's fan base and Irumbu Thirai's success is what's making this association more exciting for fans. Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran won him awards at SIIMA 2018 this year. The actor was last seen in Seema Raja which worked wonders at the Chennai box office. It collected close to Rs. 40 crores worldwide in the first four days of release. It even beat Samantha Ruth Prabhu's U-Turn at the box office.
Samantha also played the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Seema Raja. Guess it's a win-win for the actress either way.
