Irumbu Thirai 2: Here’s An Update on Regina Cassandra, Vishal Krishna and Shraddha Srinath Starrer!

Irumbu Thirai earned positive reviews from critics and audience, and was also the biggest hits in Vishal Krishna’s career. The 2018 Tamil film, directed by PS Mithran (which was his directorial debut), was produced by Vishal under the banner Vishal Film Factory. Seeing the excellent response for the film, the makers decided to work on the second edition. Fans were excited to know there would be a sequel to the cyber-crime thriller. For Irumbu Thirai 2, Regina Cassandra and Shraddha Srinath have been roped in as the lead actresses. According to a report in Zoom, the film will be shot in locales such as Turkey and London. But the update is Vishal Krishna Reddy and the lead actresses will start shooting for the film in Chennai from this week. The report was shared by industry tracker, Ramesh Bala. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement about it.

Vishal was last seen in debutant Venkat Mohan directorial Ayogya. It was a remake of the Telugu film Temper, and was commercially successful. Besides Irumbu Thirai 2, the other project that Vishal has in his kitty includes Action, directed by Sundar C. Meanwhile, Regina Cassandra has bagged out of which two (Nenjam Marappathillai and Party) of them have been delayed. The other two films scheduled to release in 2019 are Kallapart and Kasada Thapara. Even Shraddha Srinath has a tight schedule with Jodi, Godhra and Maara in her kitty.
