The makers of Gangs of Madras had announced superstar Dhanush will release the film’s first look teaser today (February 20). And as promised, the superstar has released the first look teaser of Gangs of Madras. Directed by C.V. Kumar, the movie revolves around a female gangster from Chennai. Actress Priyanka Ruth is portraying the role of a gangster and as you can see in this first look teaser, she has just nailed it in the avatar of a gangster. Gangs of Madras is C.V. Kumar’s second directorial project. He has apparently roped many newcomers in this film. The movie features Ashok, Daniel Balaji, Velu Prabhakaran, Naren and Bagavathy Perumal. The background score smoothly blends with the ongoing drama. The actors stole the show with their impressive act.  Priya Anand Replaces Razia Wilson in Dhruv Vikram's Adithya Varma.

The first film that C.V. Kumar directed was Maayavan but it did not perform well at the box office. Even though it failed, Kumar didn’t stop from directing another one.
