The teaser of the film has just dropped in, and it promises to be a nerve-racking experience. Going by what the promo has to over, Game Over is about this girl, played by Taapsee, who is wheelchair bound and spends her time playing video games.
The games have an integral role to play in the film, and the movie even borrows its title from an aspect of gaming. This girl is being troubled by mysterious pounding noises within her house and she feels that she is being stalked by someone. We also get to see a glimpse of that strange assailant, who at one point, becomes a bit too aggressive. Unlike the games she plays, the girl has only one life to spare and she has to escape this assailant that too being bound on a wheelchair.

Game Over gives us vibes of similar films made in Hollywood in the past like One Missed Call, When A Stranger Calls and Hush. But. here's hoping that Ashwin and Taapsee have something new to offer to us. The movie also stars Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and Anish Kuruvilla.
Anurag Kashyap, who directed Taapsee in Manmarziyan, is presenting the Hindi version of Game Over. In a statement to the media, he said, "I am very kicked about presenting this game-changing film in Hindi. This film proves yet again that the quality of filmmaking from the south is just outstanding and it's great to see how Ashwin Saravanan (director) has pushed the boundaries and has made a genre-bending film, something that we all have never seen before." Game Over is scheduled to release on June 14.
