The trailer of Dear Comrade shows a flashback in which Bobby, a college student, is seen active in political activities. An impulsive student, issues with anger management, getting engaged in fights, falls in love with Lilly who is a state level cricket player. Bobby’s aggressive behaviour affects his relationship with Lilly, and that’s how the couple part ways. This intense love story with lot of other political drama in the background, is something movie buffs are looking forward to. Bharat Kamma has not just directed this film, but he has also written the script for Dear Comrade. Produced under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers, this Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer will be released in four languages - Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The film’s song has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran. There were rumours stating that Dear Comrade is a remake of Dulquer Salmaan starrer Comrade in America (CIA). However, director Bharat Kamma confirmed stating that Dear Comrade is not a remake of the Malayalam film CIA. Dear Comrade is all set to hit the big screens on July 26.
