The romantic drama, that is up for a release on the 26th of this month, has generated a lot of buzz around it over promos and songs. Recently the makers of Dear Comrade dropped a teaser online, where Deverakonda can be seen as a passionate lover but what caught our attention was the kissing scene between the lead actors. Helmed by Bharat Kamma, the film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. However, Rashmika was not the first choice but Sai Pallavi.

Meanwhile, talking about the kiss scene in Dear Comrade, Vijay, at a recent press meet, said, "I don't like the word - lip-lock. You guys write about objectification....its kissing.. it's an emotion like anger... when we cry it is an emotion, when we kiss it is an emotion and it's not lip-locking... whenever I read lip-lock.. I'm like what the f**k...I really dislike it. [sic]" Stay tuned.
