Darbar: Rajinikanth's Next with AR Murugadoss Finds a Villain in Suniel Shetty - Read Details

After Mohanlal, Suniel Shetty is all set to collaborate with Rajinikanth in AR Murugadoss' Darbar.

Sunil Shetty is all set to play the baddie in AR Murugadoss' Darbar starring Rajinikanth. The movie's 20-day long first schedule was wrapped in Mumbai recently during which Thalaiva shot for some intense action scenes with Prateik Babbar. Now as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Suniel plays Prateik's father and he'll take on Rajinikanth's IPS officer in this cop drama. It would be interesting to see the actor play an antagonist after 15 long years, his last being with Shah Rukh Khan in Main Hoon Na. Rajinikanth’s Darbar Shoot Put on Hold Due to Stone Pelting on the Sets in Mumbai.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, “Anna, a corporate giant, will take on Thalaiva’s IPS office. He joins the team during the second schedule which starts in the next few days in Mumbai and will be there all through." Suniel's character has an emotional backstory that also revolves around Rajinikanth. The antagonist is determined to seek his revenge and that makes it more interesting. Suneil is working hard to beef up his body and will join Nayanthara and Rajinikanth for the film's second schedule in Mumbai. Rajinikanth and Nayanthara’s Looks LEAKED From the Sets of Darbar! See Pics Inside.

Suniel wants to make the most of his second innings and has a good number of regional projects in his kitty. He has Priyadarshan's Marakkar: The Lion of Arabian Sea that also stars Mohanlal. Suniel will also make his Kannada film debut with the soon-to-release Sudeep starrer Pailwaan. And if this wasn't enough, there's another Telugu project in his hand and talks for Hera Pheri 3 are going on. Guess the year ahead is extremely busy for this star and we can't wait to see his equation with Rajinikanth.
