Darbar starring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead is all set to be released during the time of Pongal. This special release will be Thalaivar’s first film of 2020 and fans just cannot wait to watch it on the big screens. Rajinikanth would be essaying the role of a cop in this action drama, directed by AR Murugadoss. It almost after a gap of more than 25 years that Thalaivar would be playing such a role. The Countdown Has Started

Lady Superstar Nayanthara is paired opposite Rajinikanth in this movie. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty would be seen in a negative avatar. Nivetha Thomas would also be seen playing a key role in this film. Produced under the banner of Lyca Productions, Darbar would be released in four languages – Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam. The film has been issued a U/A certificate by the censor board. The runtime of the film is said to be 2hrs and 39 minutes. So will Darbar break all the records at the box office?
