The makers of Rajinikanth starrer Darbar dropped the first motion poster of the film online on Thursday. Rajinikanth’s good friends Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal will be unveiling the motion poster of the Tamil and Malayalam versions while the motion poster of the Hindi and Telugu versions will be launched Salman Khan and Mahesh Babu.
Rajinikanth's Darbar is one of the most-anticipated films of 2020. While fans are waiting with bated breath to catch a glimpse of the superstar in the film, the makers of Rajinikanth starrer Darbar dropped the first motion poster of the film online on Thursday (November 7) evening. Along with the original Tamil version, Darbar will be dubbed and released in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam simultaneously. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, Darbar, which is Rajinikanth's 167th film, will be the first collaboration between Superstar Rajinikanth and the Sarkar director. With this film, Rajinikanth is set to return as cop on screen after a 25 years. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Darbar will be a commercial film for people of all groups. Santosh Sivan will be cranking the camera for Rajinikanth's Darbar after Mani Ratnam's Thalapathy, while Anirudh Ravichander is in-charge of the music. Rajinikanth's Darbar is set for a Pongal 2020 release. Touted to be a cop-oriented action film, Darbar has been entirely shot in Mumbai. And this marks both Rajinikanth and Murugadoss' return to familiar territory as both have shot extensively in Mumbai for their respective films.
