Bigil: Minister Kadambur Raju Demands to Cancel Special Shows of Vijay-Nayanthara's Film Due To Exorbitant Ticket Cost
Minister of Information and Publicity, Kadambur Raju asked the theatre owners to cancel these shows and give the fans the refund for the tickets. This was done with the motive of curbing the practice of the makers and owners charging sky high from the cine-goers.
It is no big deal for the filmmakers and the fans to get amped-up about the big festive releases. This trend is even more strong down south. Thalapathy Vijay and Nayanthara's fans are excited for the release of Atlee directed Bigil. For that, th advance booking for the special morning shows is also getting tremendous response. However, these morning special shows are generally sold at exorbitant price. Owing to this, Minister of Information and Publicity, Kadambur Raju asked the theatre owners to cancel these shows and give the fans the refund for the tickets. This was done with the motive of curbing the practice of the makers and owners charging sky high from the cine-goers. He also tweeted about the same confirming this piece of news. He wrote that the has pushed out a statement regarding the same and asked the theatre owners to return the money to people who booked for Bigil tickets in advance. He cited the reason saying he wanted to stop the practice of charging expensively for the special shows through this initiative.
This isn't the first time that the show makers have charged hefty amount for the tickets of the first day, first shows across cities.
