The makers of Bigil recently hosted a grand audio launch event on September 19 at Sri Sairam Engineering College in Chennai. It was a lavish affair attended by the entire team of Bigil that included Thalapathy Vijay, director Atlee, music director AR Rahman and others. Pictures from the event were all over the internet. But looks like the popular engineering college has invited trouble by hosting the grand affair.

As per the latest reports, the Department of Higher Education of Tamil Nadu have issued a notice to Sri Sairam Engineering College for hosting Bigil Audio Launch. The authorities have raised the question on what grounds the college permit for such an event to take place. There were issues already revolving for organising the event poorly. Fans shared on Twitter how they were ill-treated by security personnel at the venue and how there was lack of basic necessities.
