Barroz: Mohanlal's Directorial Debut Will Have Spanish Actors Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo

Mohanlal is currently looking forward to his directorial debut, Barroz, shooting of which is expected to start in October. The movie is a fantasy saga and the actor wants to take no risk with it. While the details about the film's casting were not out yet, the Lucifer actor recently released a video informing his fans about the progress. "I am Mohanlal, an actor who has been in the industry for the last 41 years. Going ahead, he named Spanish actors, Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo who will share the screen space with him in the movie. He invited them to join the sets of Barroz in Goa and their introduction has only amplified our interest in this directorial venture. "Barroz is set against the backdrop of the maritime history of Portugal, Spain, Africa and India. Earlier we were made aware of what the storyline of this project will be all about. The movie will be based in the Portuguese era and would revolve around a man who protects the 400-year-old treasure of Vasco da Gama, the explorer. The actor will also star in his directorial debut and play the titular lead. There are also reports of the makers roping in musical child prodigy Lydian Nadhaswaram who will compose music for this children's film. Sounds exciting, eh?
