Asuran: Dhanush Releases Second Look Posters Featuring Him in Two Distinct Avatars as He Goes from Calm to Chaos
The second look of Dhanush in Asuran is here and it is even more intriguing as it features the actor in two different lights, while one shows him in a calm state, in the other he is seen in a vengeful avatar. Asuran is one of the most-anticipated films for Dhanush fans since he is working with Vada Chennai director Vetri Maaran again.
Asuran has been one of the most-anticipated projects starring Dhanush and mainly because of his collaboration with director Vetri Maaran for this film. Ever since Vada Chennai met with huge success, Dhanush and director Vetri Maaran had been looking forward to work together again on their next project. The first look of Asuran was released in January 2019 after which we also saw a new poster that showed Dhanush donning a short haircut and a light beard. Dhanush shared the second look of Asuran on his Twitter handle. It shows the actor in two different avatars, one where he looks calm and has a moustached look with his hair perfectly coiffed, the other one shows his deadly side as he is seen in an angered state, holding a knife and has blood smeared over his face.

The film stars Dhanush playing the role of a father and son in the revenge-thriller based on Tamil novel Vekkai by writer Poomani. In the film, we will see Dhanush playing a daily wage labourer and he will be seen in a fierce avatar, like the one we see in this freshly released second look. The film has been produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, who also bankrolled Dhanush's VIP 2. The technical crew of Asuran includes GV Prakash Kumar for music, Velraj for cinematography and Vivek Harshan for editing and hence expectations from the film are high. Asuran is slated to release in October 2019.
